With a keen eye for identifying emerging opportunities, John has been building and leading successful business ventures since he launched a roof repair business in high school. He eventually grew that enterprise into a multi-million-dollar venture that became one of the premier commercial and residential roofing firms in the greater Houston area.

Over his long and successful career, John has learned a number of best practices and lessons which he applied in the development of Acclaim Energy. From the company’s early-stage development to the creation of its value proposition in an ever-changing energy industry, he has always focused on creating value for clients and providing them with the ultimate customer experience. Today, Acclaim Energy is one of the premier energy management advisors in Mexico, Canada and the U.S.

John’s prior experience also includes founding, developing and serving as President of Resource Alliance Group, a non-profit that helped displaced energy executives launch their own business enterprises. Multiple new businesses were created as a result of the strategic planning and financing they provided for early-stage entrepreneurs.

He also served as Senior Vice President at EquipmentAuction.com, where he was responsible for the delivery of an online auction platform in which live auctions were televised and real-time bidding was conducted via the Internet. This concept became—and remains—the auction industry standard.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Creighton University.
