3 Brilliant Women in Power Leadership Positions
The first CO2-free magazine in Mexico “Top 10 Women & Energy 2021”, revealed the names of 10 great women who have competed effectively and who have managed to make themselves visible and impactful among colleagues. Unfortunately, the energy market has always been male dominate; however, women created a new paradigm and developed the STEM sector.
María José Treviño, CEO of Acclaim Energy Mexico
According to the official website of Acclaim Energy Mexico, María Treviño is an advisor to large consumers of electricity and natural gas. She has been recognized by several magazines, as one of “The 100 most powerful women in business in Mexico by Expansion”, “Top 10 women in the energy industry today” and is listed on the “100 Leaders of the energy sector.”
Currently, she is secretary of the Founding Council of Women’s Energy Network (WEN), an independent advisor to the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations (COMEXI), a member of Voz Experta, and part of the Sustainability Committee of the National Chamber of Construction. In addition, she works as an autonomous consultant for COX Energy Americas, the first leading company to generate renewable energy in Latin America.
