In an effort to promote best practices in the energy industry, Acclaim Energy Mexico has decided to establish a quality process to help suppliers achieve optimal delivery service levels and results when procuring electricity.
Based on a proprietary formula called the Quality Supplier Index (QSI), along with feedback from customers and industry participants, 30 suppliers were evaluated in 2021 from which five companies were chosen to receive the “Acclaim Energy Supplier Quality Award.” This year Ammper, Bid Energy, Engie, Mitsui, and Nexus Energía were selected as the most outstanding energy suppliers of the year.
Acclaim Energy Mexico QSI criteria consist of approximately 20 different elements that have been developed over the past 20 years working with customers and suppliers across North America. The “Energy Supplier Quality Award” was created by to recognize the development and implementation of best practices in serving energy customers in any industry in the Mexican market, rather than recognizing specific products or services. The award is yielded annually to the top 5 Qualified Energy Suppliers in Mexico, according to a company´s press release.
“As an industry, we have made great improvements in adopting practices to help customers capture market opportunities in a timely and transparent manner when purchasing electricity. However, while we chose to highlight the top five suppliers, we thank all energy suppliers for their continued progress in adopting best practices to meet the needs of large energy consumers,” said María José Treviño, General Director of Acclaim Energy Mexico.
